Mobile in Mobile

We had an interesting adventure our last day in Mobile.
Notes for future visits...
1.  The cruise ship traveler swap day is Thursday.
2.  The train goes right under the convention center in front of the cruise ship terminal.
3.  Trains are really, really, really long in Mobile.
4.  Conventions release at noon for everyone to go find lunch.

We headed into town for lunch and a visit to Gulf Quest museum.  There was a moment where we almost scrapped the whole thing (see notes above) since the museum is in the same parking lot as the cruise ship terminal and next to the convention center.

The museum is super cool.  The inside is designed to look like a container ship, from water around the base and shore ties to the bridge wings on the 5th deck.  Sweet didn't get many photos because we were so busy building keels, using sextants, experiencing decision making for hurricane evacuation and hanging out in the bunkhouse listening to stories of the sea.

If you ever have the chance to be in Mobile this museum is a must see!!!
