Florida-Georgia Line

One of the best things about Christmas was getting to visit with old friends and make new ones!  We spent a lot of time playing and just resting which was nice. One great blessing was being gifted a night of childcare for Gherkin and KimChee so Dill and Sweet could celebrate their 14th wedding anniversary a few days early.
But we couldn't go more than a few days without an adventure!!!  We spent part of a day at Fort Clinch.
This is what happens when you use wall bricks instead of pavers for the floor!  Dips, dives and danger!

The Bakery.  The roof was set to collect rain water for cooking and drinking.

In the afternoon we met up with some new friends to go shark tooth hunting.  The day was gray which actually made for perfect hunting conditions.  In this area you find fossilized teeth rather than fresh, as well as fossilized teeth of horses, alligators, and bones.  The finds were pretty amazing!
94% is from our hunt.  There are a few shells/coral from Key West mixed in.
We are very thankful for the down time - what a great way to close out 2018.
