Were going to the zoo, zoo, zoo!

Gherkin's friend Little A's mom invited us to join them at the Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium. Gherkin was quite excited especially when he found out there was a carousel to be ridden. I found it rather ironic that the horse he chose to ride the first time was named Commander.

The zoo has camel rides. Who can argue with that?

Around the loop they went.

Then we went to feed the budgies.

I was surprised how still Gherkin was willing to stand.

We spent some time in the aquarium as well. Although there weren't any sharks this big the kids thought it was fun to stand in the mouth.
