Another Remodel?
As per usual (see posts of May 2008) our summer trip to Oregon involves the remodel/redecoration of a room at Amma and Poppie's house. This year it's the guest bedroom. Which is a bit of a challenge since Gherkin and Mommy are sleeping out in the open office with the stairs to the main floor. Quite it is not. Gherkin decided that this year we can't really leave him out of the fun and he wanted to paint. So we suited him up for action.
We had high hopes that maybe we could just keep him happy with implied painting.
But color must be on the brush for the little guy to be happy!
As with almost everything in his life he was very ordered about how the paint had to go on the wall and surprisingly only got a little bit of paint on his foot.
Next step...Flooring...This should be interesting we have to empty the other half of the upstairs and do it all at once. The stairwell is not conducive to moving much of the existing furniture (we had to cut the desk in half to get it up in the first place). We will see how it goes. More photos to follow.
