Chattanooga - Part 1 of 4 - Family Ties

We kicked off this trip with the title "One Year, One Family".  There have been moments where the amount of family time seemed overwhelming and other times where it wasn't quite enough.  We have had to work through days where one of us parented while the other filled trash bags of tissues and couldn't get out of bed.  We have been blessed to spend time with family and even meet some family members for the first time.  Our time in Chattanooga covered all those bases.  Dill spent a lot of time as the primary parent for the first part of our visit while Sweet was primary for the last bit as we passed a super nasty bug between us.

To kick off our time Dill took KimChee to the Creative Discovery Museum while Sweet and Gherkin slept/watched movies at home.  They had a great time and KimChee came home with a few creative projects.

On Sunday we were blessed to be able to go to church and hear a member of Dill's family preach the message.  We then joined them for Sunday dinner and were blessed to meet members of the family that were new to many of us.

  It's crazy to be able to sit down with family and feel like you have known them forever, even though you are just getting to know them!
