Beltway Buddies
We spent about 10 days in the DC Beltway and checked many friends off the list. Some we got to see twice!
We were privileged to get a private tour of the Naval Academy (The Yard) from a former midshipman.
We got to spend parts of two days with this crazy pygmy. This is KimChee's best buddy from our time in Cali and it was good to see the two be able to run together.
The next night brought a visit with these wonderful folks. They followed us down the road to Korea to bring home their second (hard to believe that "little guy" in the front is 3!)
The next night we spent with some folks we have been stationed with off and on since the Academy. Tio Leo was a cadet at the Academy and was actually at an event with Sweet Pickle the weekend before Gherkin was born. We were then stationed with him again in Astoria where he met his amazing wife. They had a super cool collection of LEGO's and the boys built all evening.
Thank you to all those who have and continue to open their homes to us as we travel around. It is such a blessing to be able to catch up with those whom we have gotten to know though the military.
