From the Pickle Barrel we headed down to Cape Cod! We spent a lot of time on the National Seashore (though we didn't actually make it onto the beach).
We went to Marconi Beach where the first Trans-Atlantic radio communication was sent. The next day we went to the Marconi RCA center. It was interesting to see the history of radio communication and see how long the nautical radio communication continued (1997 was the last communication in this form).

There are an amazing number of lighthouses on Cape Cod. We visited 5 of them. I suppose that's being generous since one site is home to the "three sisters".

On our way up to Portsmouth we stopped at this light. Sadly their lighthouse stamp had been moved to another site. Due to the fog we couldn't even see the ocean from the site from which the lighthouse had been moved.
We also saw the iconic Cape Cod Lighthouse.
