I was talking to the neighbor a couple weeks before Thanksgiving and he mentioned that the weather men were already predicting snow for before Thanksgiving. I was unconvinced but ready for anything We were down in Portland the weekend before Thanksgiving for an early Thanksgiving and drove home in spotty snow but none in our neighborhood. I was pretty sure we had just seen it and we were done. So much for the neighbor's prediction...and then...
Monday morning it started!
At first it wasn't much so Gherkin had to make a pile to make it convincing.

In the afternoon it started to get a little more convincing. Luckily it was light enough that it could be cleared with a push broom and Gherkin's little shovels. Since we kind of ditched our snow shovel in New England and haven't replaced it yet.
