Last week we decided to go for a bike ride while the weather was cooperating for a few minutes. Since bike riding around the house is not a safe option, we headed down the the nice flat river walk. We learned a few lessons in the course of the trip.
1. If there is a wind use it as a head wind the when starting out rather than a tail wind.

3. Winds may whip the waves but they will push you backward on a bike so pedal like a crazy man!!!

We only got stuck in one small cloudburst but it was enough motivation to get Gherkin to pedal back to the car. We went about 40 blocks round trip and had a very good time.
