Country Living - Part 2
Last week was fair week in Clatsop County so what else to do on a overcast Friday but go to the Fair! Gherkin thought the animal barns were way cool. He kept going down each aisle of animals and telling us what each of them was. By far the favorite memory of the day was when Amma was holding him and they were standing next to a couple of calves and one of them decided that Amma's sweater must be full of food and started chewing on it.

And oh yeah Poppie's two entries into the woodworking categories of "other" and puzzles won him 2 blue ribbons. His "insulated" bowl won reserve champion. It was "insulated" because it has an old electrical insulator in it that the tree had grown around.
Gherkin thought it was neat to be able to be next to the tiny cow and pet it.
