Country Living - Part 1

One of the advantages to living in the "country" is the wildlife. Although Amma & Poppie's house is in the middle of the city we have a couple of deer that like to hang out in the back yard and eat the flowers. The other day a mom and her yearling decided to rest and let Gherkin and Amma get within 6 feet of them.
The mamma is an appaloosa, which local wildlife officials have said since she first appeared in the community about 3 years ago that she wouldn't last long or be accepted into the deer community. Well, she has proved them all wrong and this year had her first baby which is traveling around town with her.
