Budding Photographer
Gherkin (being a child of the 21st century) has already started to figure out technology. If we don't make sure the cell phones are put away he goes right for them! This weekend he spent figuring out the digital camera - with a little help from one of his sponsor brothers.
This is the first photo he took. He knew exactly where to push the button - pretty dexterous considering the button is in the middle of a solid circle shape. After he took this photo he went running around to the other side to see the photo show up on the view window.
Then he figured out it would be faster if he stayed on the backside of the camera to take the photos. It was hilarious to watch him squat down after taking the photo to see it on the screen.
Big D finally figured out what was going on and decided to check in. Yes that is the Civil War on the TV screen and yes once again Mommy's Beavers plucked Big D's Ducks.
We had a wonderful Saturday with a houseful of 8 Cadets. Making ornaments and cookies, decorating the Christmas Tree and eating a wonderful dinner together. Sorry the photo is out of focus (Mommy is asking Santa for a different digital camera for Christmas).
