Organization - Gherkin Style!

Organization - for some a very dreaded word for others that to be aspired to. For Gherkin...Well it's been getting more interesting by the day. The other night I was in the process of collecting laundry. Since we have so many gates up around the house it is difficult at times to get from place to place so the basket was quietly waiting in the kitchen. Gherkin decided that more things needed to be added. Since he no longer has access to the kitchen linen drawer he decided that plastic ware was the next best thing. He had most of the cupboard emptied but not all of it would fit into the laundry basket. Can't blame the kid for trying.
Gherkin has been enjoying some new patterns around the house.

On occasion his really cool antique high chair is turned into his own personal table and chair for snack time.

He is also learning the fine art of surviving winter in the North East. We went out to do a little shopping while Auntie R and her Beau were here over the weekend. Lesson learned - always pack the diaper changer into the stroller so Big D doesn't have to hike all the way back to the car!

Development News...

Gherkin is working on 4 more teeth - at least that is what I am blaming his attitude on. With any luck these four will be the end till the 2 year molars. He can now point to his nose and mouth when asked and sometimes an eye. I'm not sure if you would classify his speed as running but I feel like I am constantly running to keep up with him.
