Gherkin decided that he wanted to be a rocket man today. It was a very long discussion about how he wanted to make a rocket. I tried to convince him to use his oversized tinker toys but he wanted to use the chairs in dining room. I finally got him to use the bar stools. Then we found the roll of paper and make it a rocket.

Gherkin decided that it would be an Easter Rocket so he started drawing Easter eggs around the rocket.

Then he decided that he needed a helmet. We looked a bit on the internet to find some patterns. He really wanted a paper mache helmet but I convinced him he didn't have enough time. We settled on a paper bag for simplicity sake.

Gherkin has been working on his cutting skills as well as his sensory stuff. He decided to cut a circle on his own tonight - I was very proud of him! Maybe tomorrow we will challenge his sensory system and make that paper mache helmet.
