We made it to the Beach!
For some reason although most other people associate Astoria with the beach we really don't make it there very often. We had some family out visiting this week and they really wanted to go so we took a break from the remodel and headed to the beach.
We started at the Jetty for a view of the ocean and the river.
Then off to Sunset Beach.
Gherkin had a blast running his rake in the sand.

A perfect day at the beach!
In typical Oregon weather the next day was torrential downpour all day! Glad we went when we did.
