Part 2 - Sesame Place

After a quick night's stay at Cousins M & A in New Hope, PA we were off to...

Sesame Place! They have a great deal right now with the Hero Salute program that got us in free! Gherkin wanted nothing to do with Zoe as we walked in but started warming up to the rides.

He had a blast with Big D and a ride on the "up and down".

The next ride looked innocent - kind of like those back and forth ships at the carnival - yeah not so much - off went the caterpillar round and round and up and down. Mommy wished she had seen it going before they got on and she would have convinced Big D to ride!

Gherkin did a little jig on Sesame Street!

The lack of desire to be anywhere near the characters continued with our meeting with Big Bird.

Gherkin fell in love with the Blast off ride. He went twice back to back - didn't even get off.

Then off to the tea cups with Big D!

Even though we went to see Elmo's World live Gherkin wanted nothing to do with Elmo - oh well.

You may have noticed the lack of lines and occasional rain drops on the photos. It was a day for a duck - overcast and drizzle. That meant we had the park almost all to ourselves. We left around 2:30 for our next leg to Pittsburgh. Gherkin was asleep before we hit the freeway!
