Academy Close Out
We have checked out of the Academy. Finishing our tour with Graduation and Big D's Frocking. Mommy was able to enjoy Graduation with the family of one of our Sponsor Cadets. Mr. S is retired Air Force, and their oldest son is enlisted Coast Guard.
The Graduates took their Oath of office.
They divested themselves of all things cadet.
As we prepared to pack Gherkin wore Big D's LCDR cover for the last time.
On Thursday before the movers got to the house we went to the Academy so Big D could be promoted to CDR! Gherkin was interested in everything - and a bit of a pill - surprise, surprise!
We put on Big D's new shoulder boards.
One big happy family!
Gotta run - will post travel photos soon!
