Birthday Recap
Before getting started I must admit to a little old business - I meant to post this photo earlier but hey, we've had 5 birthdays in the last 3 weeks to deal with :)
This photo was taken one night not long after the promotion to the "big boy" bed. He got out and was in the guest bed holding his favorite bed book. I kid you not - this child will get out of the bed, paw through the pile of board books in his room until he finds "The Three Trees" and then will climb back into bed and stay there with no complaint. The other night I found him with his head resting on the book - I don't know what the attraction is but it has to be that book!
So onto the Celebration. Life is good when mommy wakes you up and you have a birthday banner on your bed.
Life gets even better when you get downstairs and your first gift is a water play table.
One can not express the coolness of your life when you get to wear your "pane" shirt and get a train that is a puzzle.
Yes, I know you must get clothing for your birthday...

For those of you that don't know the "rules of cupcake eating" here they go...
1. Eat all the frosting off the top of the cupcake.
2. Eat all the cake of the bottom of the cupcake.
3. Do not eat the section of cupcake where the frosting and cake touch!
On the 13th we had the big "Pickle Barrel Birthday party" we even got a photo of all the birthday kids - in order of date no less!
Finally the three boys, Seal Pup, Cman and Gherkin are...
SO BIG!
