2 is New

It was time. We had to do the "Professional Photos". How the poor girl got him to sit still long enough to get these photos I have no idea. I guess the promise of a cupcake helped. So now he is the big 2. We went to the Dr. the day after his birthday for the Well Child Exam (moment of panic for mommy - his next scheduled appointment isn't till he's 4). Here's hoping we have a healthy child.
Weight - 24lb 14 oz 10-25%
Height - 34 in 50%
Head - 18 1/2 in 10-25%
He was supposed to finish out his immunizations but he was 2 days early so we put it off. Only problem is that 2 days after his appointment he started in on a cold - which is still hanging on by it's fingernails.

He has lots of words in his vocabulary and is starting to use them without prompting. Last night's new word was tunnel - as he crawled under my legs. The favorite words right now are potty and pee as we try to work on toilet skills. It's funny, one week it is a screaming battle and this week he would rather sit on the potty chair than anywhere else.
