Barefoot in the Park

OK not really - it is after all topping out at a mere 60 degrees out here. About twice a week we walk down the hill to have lunch with Amma at school. At the bottom of the hill is a park that was designed by the children of the community. It includes play structures that are tied to the local landscape, economy and history.
It's nice to have a big boat to pretend to be Big D!
Gherkin is very interested by the over-sized salmon.
With a view of the bay behind you can't beat it for scenery!
Gherkin is starting to figure out the slide on his own.
Success!
Grandpa D is glad to know we have another family member cleared for electrical work- Gherkin is a bad conductor - at least of the Trolley!
