Although it makes my Beaver blood boil, it is BCS Championship Day today.  One must root for the home team so "GO DUCKS!"

There I said it...

Gherkin has been asking me for a green hat since "Green is my favorite color, Mommy."  I took a quick gander through my yarn stash and found two balls of yarn that were given to me by Mama Seal a few Christmases ago.  I thought hmm - being that Big D is a Duck fan what goes better with green than yellow, so for the second day of Christmas Gherkin got a new hat!

Since it must be said, even with all the push ups the Duck's mascot did he did not win the Capitol One Mascot challenge.  The Oregon State Beaver did however win the write in competition! Go Beavs!
