Sounders
We headed into Seattle to start off our Mother's Day weekend with a Sounders Game. We tried to get tickets online and through the military MWR at our local Navy base to no avail. The Moral Officer on Big D's boat was able to get a bunch of tickets and we snapped up three. Gherkin and Big D looked oh so festive in their Sounder green. Mommy - she doesn't wear green, thank you.
We had to put Gherkin in his harness because he wasn't the only one wearing green as you can imagine - I thought only pickles were allowed to wear green. They actually have a Sounders Band so the pregame was interesting.
Our seats were right in front of the jumbo-tron and right behind the "South End Crew" which is better known as all the crazy fans that have season tickets and know all the songs! Gherkin thought it was a little loud.
We watched some pretty good soccer. They were playing the LA Galaxy which stands undefeated - still. Final score 4-0 not pretty.
After the game we headed to Oregon for a little Mother's Day celebration. More on that later :)
