Boston and Maine
Last week Gherkin and Mommy took a trip to Boston and Maine to work on some photo journals for the two continuing education courses she is taking. We started the trip in Rhode Island with a trip to the Roger Williams Zoo. Gherkin's favorite phrase for the morning was "Look-a, Look-a".
That afternoon we walked from our hotel in Boston to the USS Constitution (I will not bore you with history). It was a bit of a challenge getting around on the ladder ways with Gherkin in the backpack! The next day we headed into Boston proper to walk the Freedom Trail (again I will spare you).
After spending 5 plus hours soaking in the history we headed off to the Boston Children's Museum. Not long ago I picked up a bright orange T-shirt to be Gherkin's "Museum Shirt". I figure not many kids will be in a CG logo t-shirt and the bright orange is easy to spot. He spent the first 30 minutes moving chess pieces from one pile to another. I think he was glad to be moving after being in the stroller all day.
On Thursday we headed to see some of the Lighthouses in Maine. This is a park that we could see two lighthouses from. Gherkin was busy climbing on the unfinished fort.
From the Portland Breakwater light (not sure of the fort name) looking back at the ocean and Portland Head.

I could tell how much efforts you've taken on it.
Keep doing!
