Sometimes it's nice to have a neat freak for a child. He tends to pick up his toys, push in his chair, put finished snack items into the sink. But then you try to introduce him to some of the joys of childhood and it doesn't go so well. (someday we will talk about his aversion to fingerpaining)
Gherkin got to carve his pumpkin "all by himself" his year.

To carve the pumpkin this year, Mommy took and idea she found in Wondertime. Kind a cross between whack a mole and free expressionism.
Mommy helped for the main hits but once he had some holes Gherkin liked putting the golf tee back in on his own.
Gherkin finished his pumpkin and helped Big D mark up his for carving.
