Oregon Re-Cap
Since we have been back on the home front for a whopping 10 days I think it is time to catch up with what I missed posting at the end of the trip west. First of all we had a great day seeing the Eagle pull into Astoria, OR. In true Oregon coast form it was overcast.
But by the time the boat tied up it was beautiful - we took family photos at the "sandy beach" of Astoria.
Later in the day Big D took apart the chimney on Amma and Pappi's roof. To spare the weak of heart I will not post photos of him on the roof. Gherkin decided he needed to supervise.
Later in the week Mommy and Big D were able to take some time away from the Gherkin and enjoyed a relaxing couple of days in the Columbia Gorge.
Overall, a wonderful trip to the nice, cool Oregon coast with lots of time for family, work and special memories.
