Making Music's Fun

Those of you who know the words from Big Bird and the Orchestra sing along...

"Making music's fun, and we wanna have fun, La la la la"

There's lots more words but seeing as how I can't even find the LP on CD (hunted high and low) I'm not surprised that I couldn't find the lyrics on the Internet.

Gherkin is getting busy in his second year of life and finding many new adventures outside the Pickle Barrel.

We have tried out story time at the library and have one more week of that for the fall. The other big adventure is our experience with Kindermusik.

Gherkin enjoys the music and will usually "sing" along with the fast ones. The slow stuff - not so much. Gherkin enjoys interacting with the other students some much younger than he and others sightly older.

At the end of class the big box of instruments comes out for all to play. Last week we had a minor crisis with all the noise but this week he dug right in and thought it was the best!

Shake it little man!
